Roma has received Durant Daily Democrat Reader’s Choice award since their inception in 2005. In 2006, Roma underwent a massive construction and redesign phase. During the remodel the restaurant introduced all new facilities and equipment, expanded to twice its original capacity, and created a more aesthetically appealing dining room. Eager customers lined the street where they patiently awaited the grand re-opening. As expected, Roma turned on the charm and regained the loyalty of their dedicated clientele.
Over the years, the owners of Roma, Gzim and Tony, have provided Texoma with exceptional Italian food at a reasonable price. Their hard work and continued community support has not gone unnoticed. Aside from being a local favorite, Roma has been nominated to receive the prestigious Great American Main Street Award in 2008.
